ICE ACTIVITY IN WEST RIDGE
A stated mission of the West Ridge Community Organization is to "enhance the quality of life and promote the racial, economic and cultural diversity of the greater West Ridge Community". Our diversity, exemplified in our immigrant communities, is under attack from ICE and Border Patrol. Last week they came to our community in full force to detain people and create chaos. Despite an executive order from the Mayor prohibiting ICE activity on City property, they detained a man working at Decatur Classical School during school hours.
